Political Journalism Responsibilites

To collect information on newsworthy local, state, national or international political events. To assemble and verify facts through interviews with figures relevant to the story and examining documents and public records. To write, proofread, and edit articles produced by others. To do analysis of the background events. To travel to various locations to report on what you saw. To make reports acting as a host for other programs or programs which they may join as a special correspondent. Doing the live reporting of events in order to provide relevant data. Must have excellent research and writing skills. Should have the ability to work individually as well as within a team. Should have the ability to find questions and facts out of content or surrounding events. Must have a Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, english or any other similar field Should be capable of maintaining an objective and effective standard in reporting. Ability to do assigned tasks within a given timeframe. Ability to manage the records and data. Should be able to communicate effectively in written and oral manner.
