Information Security Specialist Description
We are looking for a candidate for Information security who are highly experienced and trained members of the I.T. department responsible for planning and implementing security measures, securing the technical infrastructure in the company, monitoring systems for security breaches, and responding to cyber-attacks within the company. They are also responsible for ensuring data security in all of its forms, from electronic files to physical data storage devices. Information security specialists research, evaluate, recommend and implement information security policies that protect an organization's data, intellectual property and reputation. The role of an information security specialist is to define and enforce security policies, control access to sensitive data, protect against cyber-attacks, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of computer systems.

• Post-Graduate degree in system administration, network security, network administration or a related field
• At least five years of experience in system support
• Knowledge of current security risks and protocols
• Willingness to work on-call in the event of a security breach or other emergency

• Ability to work under close supervision, as well as the ability to take independent initiative when needed
