Open Source Intelligence Analyst Description
• As needed, provide direct support in the form of intelligence analysis, exploitation, and production to the customer.
• Find and evaluate data from a variety of classified and open sources using all-source intelligence research.
• Analyze data about other nations that might be utilized to develop national policy.
• Determine the relevance of ties between persons, organizations, enterprises, and governments and communicate results to relevant officials.
• Evaluate information from a variety of sources in order to formulate plans for air campaigns, counterintelligence operations, and other intelligence operations.
• Assist intelligence personnel in the preparation of charts, graphs, maps, and other representations.
Open Source Intelligence Analyst Skills
• Graduate in any field, preferably B.Tech, BCA or B.Sc.
• Must be able to commit to a 3 month training program with the opportunity to join full-time
• Verbal and written interpretation/translation (the ability to identify and analyze problems and then generate recommended solutions based upon experience working with various elements of DoD.)
• Writing professional intelligence products (reports, briefings, etc.)
• Working as part of multi-discipline teams.
• Ability to multi-task and accomplish tasks with limited supervision and respond to short-notice tasking.
